When you have a scheduled telemedicine appointment, click your provider’s link below. Doxy.me (pronounced “doc-SEE-me”) is a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. You do not need an account, an app, or a download—just a browser, a camera, and a microphone.

Before you check in Always run Doxybot first, then enter your provider’s waiting room.

Before you join

A few rules for a safe, successful visit.

Please read these before entering a waiting room. They help keep visits private, clinically appropriate, and on time.

Setup check

Always run Doxybot before you join.

Doxy.me’s Doxybot (the Pre-Call Test) checks that your camera, microphone, speakers, and internet connection are ready. Use it every visit, on the same device, browser, and network you will use for the appointment—even if you have joined Doxy.me before. Allow camera and microphone access when asked, and follow Doxybot’s on-screen steps until it says you are OK. After you check in, you can also start it with the Pre-Call Test button in the waiting room.

Insurance

Tricare does not pay for telemedicine.

Tricare does not cover telemedicine visits with our practice. If your coverage is Tricare, please schedule an in-person appointment instead of a virtual visit.

Connection

Use a solid, stable internet connection.

Check your connection before the call. Weak Wi-Fi, hotspot dropouts, or an overloaded network can interrupt the visit or prevent your provider from seeing and hearing you clearly.

Safety

No calls from a moving vehicle.

Do not join a telemedicine visit from a car that is in motion, even if you are a passenger. Find a private, stationary place where you can speak freely and stay focused on the appointment.

Timing

Your provider may be a few minutes late.

If your telemedicine visit is scheduled during a regular clinic day, your provider may need a few extra minutes to sign in. If you have waited more than 10 minutes, call the front desk at +49 (0)6371 952 7070.

Using Doxy.me

No login. No app. Run Doxybot, then check in.

Doxy.me is built for healthcare visits. Audio and video are encrypted, and Doxy.me does not store the call. Patients are never charged by Doxy.me to join a visit.

1

Run Doxybot

Open Doxybot on the same device you will use for the visit. It tests your camera, microphone, speakers, and connection, and walks you through fixes if something is not ready. Do not skip this step.

2

Open your provider’s room

Use the waiting-room link on this page at your appointment time. It opens in your web browser—Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge—on a computer, tablet, or phone. No app is required.

3

Check in with your name

Type your name and allow camera and microphone access when asked. If Doxybot or a Pre-Call Test button appears in the waiting room, complete it there as well. Your provider is then notified that you are ready.

4

Wait for the call to start

Stay on the page. Your provider will start the visit from their side. If you have waited more than 10 minutes on a regular clinic day, call the front desk rather than leaving the waiting room without checking in.

Still waiting?

Call if it has been more than 10 minutes.

On clinic days, providers may be finishing an in-person visit before they sign in. If you have been in the waiting room for over 10 minutes, please call the front desk so we can help.
